Freepik. The Society for Co-operative Studies of Ireland is a member based organisation (SCSI), established in 1991, to increase awareness of co-operatives. It has a membership of over 100 individuals including co-operative practitioners, community activists and academics.

The Society has recently completed a set of valuable education resources on co-operatives (what they are, why they are different from other business etc.) for secondary and primary schools in Ireland. If you are a school and/or youth organization in Northern Ireland, please get in touch with us through our website Society For Co-operative Studies – Studying the impact of co-operatives (scsi.coop) or Tiziana O’Hara, the current Secretary of the Society.
