Good to Grow Co-op Helps Develop New Garden

Good to Grow Co-op, Northern Ireland only horticultural co-operative, have been busy over the summer providing social and therapeutic horticulture with Brain Injury Matters, Belfast. Participants with acquired brain injuries have enjoyed learning how to propagate and plant with Sandy, Paul, Adele and Gill from the co-op.

On-site the Good to Grow team are helping to guide the groups, assisting them in the creation of their own garden at the charity’s Castlereagh Road premises. Prior to this the unused outdoor area at the side of the building looked like any other industrial park. Once completed, it will evolve into a serene place of relaxation and learning; a green space to explore the senses and importantly bring important pollinators into this little corner of Belfast
