Employee Ownership in Northern Ireland

DLD Fund

Based on recent research from the Department for the Economy (DfE), Employee Ownership is taking off in Northern Ireland.

Aidan O’Neill, a founding member of the DLD Fund, is committed to supporting Employee Ownership in Northern Ireland. The fund has already helped four new businesses transition to employee ownership in 2024. These businesses have all used the Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) model, which allows business owners to sell their company to a trust that benefits all employees. This model ensures long-term employee ownership and offers both owners and employees significant advantages.
