Ecological Design Association NI Hempcrete Building Workshop

Picture of the workshop we ran at Holywood Mens’ Shed

This workshop which takes place on Saturday 4 December 2021, is an opportunity to learn about how to mix and cast hempcrete. We will be applying some hempcrete to an old stone wall to show how it can be used to renovate old buildings, but will also explain how it is used in new build.

The workshop will be held in a barn attached to a house on the main Killyleagh to Downpatrick Road, south of Killyleagh. This is a private house but the owners have kindly agreed to allow us to use their building. You can spot the place as there is a sign to buildings where they sell organic vegetables and have a refill hut
